Qualities: Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. Measuring 5-6 in hardness on the Moh's scale.
Collection Site: Another unusual find while on a road trip! The Obsidian was collected near Lamar, in southeast Colorado. This Obsidian has swirls and color patterns similar to that of Nuummite found in Greenland.
