An Apricot agate set in sterling silver. This 6880 agate was mined in Georgia O'Keefe country north of Cuba, New Mexico on Cerro Pedernal.
Qualities: A cryptocrystalline variety of silica measuring 7 in hardness on the Moh's scale
Measures: 85 mm long by 15 mm (widest area); agate 46 mm X 14 mm tapered
Collection Site: Collected in the Jemez Mountains of Northern New Mexico near Ghost Ranch in the heart of Georgia O'Keeffe Country
Color: Mottled with swirls of white, apricot orange color running through the stone
